Experts contribute research and write short tips that appear beside the content they explain. A tip is guidance for reading a page. It is not a source of pay figures. Every figure on this site comes from an official publication, and thesources list names it. Where an expert tip and an official publication disagree, the official publication applies, and the page should be corrected.
Titles and service history are shown as each expert presented them. Experts do not set pay rates, and no expert decides whether a figure is published.
If a tip is unclear or you think it is wrong, send the page address and what the official source says to [email protected]. The contact and corrections page lists what to include.
