Who the site is for
The site is written for people who want to read military pay without a background in pay administration. That includes active-duty and Reserve or National Guard members, their families, and people comparing a military career with other work. Each page explains the terms it uses, such as basic pay, BAH, and years of service, and links to the official source behind each figure.
What you will find
- Pay charts. Monthly basic pay by grade and years of service for 2025and 2026, with a chart for each branch.
- Calculators. Basic pay,BAH,retirement, drill pay, and theGI Bill housing allowance.
- Guides. How to read a pay chartand what BAH is.
- Dates and raises. 2026 pay dates and the2026 pay raise.
What the site does not do
- It does not give personal pay, tax, legal, or benefits advice. Questions about your own account go to DFAS or myPay.
- It has no accounts and cannot see your pay record. Do not send us your Social Security number, myPay login, or account details.
- Its estimates are not guaranteed entitlements or take-home pay. Each calculator states what it includes and what it leaves out.
- It does not publish a figure that has no official source, and it does not show projections as current pay.
How pages are checked
Each pay table shows the publisher and the date it was checked. When DFAS or DTMO publishes a new table, the figures are compared with the official source before the page changes. The pay data updatespage describes the schedule, and the editorial policy sets out how corrections are handled.
Independence
Independent site. Not affiliated with the Department of Defense, the Department of War, DFAS, or any military service. We do not represent any government office and do not sell pay advice.
Where the numbers come from
Pay tables come from DFAS publications. Each table shows its source, the date it was checked, and what it excludes. The sources list gives each source and its status, and the editorial policy sets out how figures are checked and corrected.
